Meet Lisa Cemo, a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, licensed esthetician, and massage therapist with a deep-rooted passion for alternative medicine. Lisa's journey in the field of holistic wellness began in 2006 when she immersed herself in the study of esthetics and massage therapy. In 2011, she graduated at the top of her class from the esteemed Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, earning a Master's of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Lisa embarked on a transformative clinical internship in China at the renowned Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. There, she focused her studies on dermatology, gynecology, and pain management, solidifying her expertise in these areas. Lisa has furthered her education through extensive training in pain management, ancient and modern facial rejuvenation techniques, and nervous system resetting, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive and effective treatments.

Lisa's profound connection with alternative medicine began at a young age, influenced by a holistic upbringing that embraced practices such as yoga, meditation, food therapy, and herbalism, with her mother as her greatest teacher. However, life took a challenging turn during her teens and twenties, as she encountered major tragic events that resulted in painful menstrual cycles, severe cystic acne, digestive disorders, and emotional and psychological struggles. Conventional treatments offered no relief, leading to a profound sense of low self-esteem and depression.

Fueled by her dissatisfaction with chronic imbalances and a desire for change, Lisa embarked on a personal journey of self-discovery. Through extensive research, she rediscovered the power of alternative medicine. Taking control of her own healing, she began receiving acupuncture treatments, incorporating herbal formulas, eliminating trigger foods and drinks, and rewiring her mindset and thought patterns. Through chiropractic care, facials, movement, and massage therapy, she gradually found internal and external balance. This transformative journey required time, effort, and a willingness to change.

Inspired by her personal experience and transformation, Lisa has dedicated her life to the study of alternative medicine. Her mission is to empower others facing similar challenges by addressing the underlying root causes of their health and skin issues. She firmly believes that healing the body and skin begins by breaking the cycle of stress and rewiring the nervous system. By invoking the deep parasympathetic state, also known as "rest and digest," individuals can disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with their true selves. This process relinquishes control and allows the body's innate healing system to take over. Lisa understands that healing is a journey, and she guides her clients to put in the necessary work to become the best version of themselves.
